There are "4" Supra's in my area who's owners I know well. Phillip and Frank have identical mods and their hp reflects the time and money they've put into the cars. The two other Supra's are minimum BPU.. well ok, one has a GForce ECU upgrade, which is pretty must uselss at BPU levels. Neither of these two Supras have spent much, if any, tuning time on the dyno. Both of these Supras dyno in the 375-385rwhp range. So, ok, maybe it's tough to get 400, but these guys are gettin close. If I saw Supra's running slow out at the track, I'd be the first the wonder wtf was goin on.. but problem is, they're all fast and run all over modded Z's.I personally don't care about who's faster for the least amount of money.. none of the serious enthusiasts went out looking for the cheapest Z possible, we found one that met our expectations and fit out budget. Mods are the same, I plan on dropping more than $2000 into "go fast" mods in my future Supra, and as long as I'm pleased with its performance for the money I've spent then all's good. We can argue all day who can go faster on a $100 budget, but what serious performance nut is only going to spend $100 on the car, no one. ok.. There's about my $0.06 worth. later
